shirts.wiki: Object Recovery Request

Certain objects previously observed within shirts.wiki may become difficult to locate over time.

This can occur due to:

  • altered search terminology
  • catalog growth
  • indexing drift
  • incomplete memory
  • object removal
  • visual corruption
  • user error
  • system behavior

If you are attempting to locate a previously encountered shirt, image, object, or entry, a recovery request may be submitted through the contact interface.

Incomplete descriptions remain acceptable.

Useful recovery details may include:

  • approximate image content
  • remembered colors
  • emotional reaction
  • estimated viewing period
  • associated search terms
  • whether the object appeared “normal”
  • orientation abnormalities
  • visual similarities to unrelated objects

Examples:

  • “blue thing holding a fish”
  • “upside down medieval dog”
  • “shirt with the strange little businessman”
  • “something that felt government-issued”
  • “I saw it at 2am and cannot relocate it”

Recovery is not guaranteed.

Some entries may:

  • no longer exist
  • exist under altered indexing conditions
  • remain temporarily inaccessible
  • have been replaced by near equivalents
  • never have been fully observed in the first place

Requests are reviewed manually.
